This is a great app and Ill tell you my experience. I had a huge rash on the left side of my forehead and it was bright red. For 2 days it grew as I had no idea what it was, (Im not allergic to anything). By 10pm my med school friends told me it was shingles and that I needed the anti viral medication asap to jump start the medication process. I was in the city helpless with 3 options: 1) wait until the morning to schedule an apt with my doctor to get a referral to a dermatologist 2) wait until the morning to get a prescription from my dr 3) download this app and talk to a dr and get a prescription asap. I pressed 3 - paid $50, saw the kind dr who diagnosed me with shingles, got the prescription, and went to sleep by midnight. I saved 8-10 hours of a virus that couldnt wait, and I wasnt going to the ER and pay hundreds in expenses. This app is great with my sort of situation. Sure if I was near my dr I would like to get an in depth analysis but for time sensitive issues this was a great option!

This app/service is amazing!!! My family doctor was not in and I was leaving for vacation in under 48 hours. Was able to be seen immediately and prescribed medication to treat my illness. Very thorough and professional. Will contribute to use this service!

Woke up with a sinus infection the other day, tried to treat it myself but failed. Saw this on my insurance website, signed up and saw a wonderful doctor. All within less than 20 minutes. I will use this service again. Why drive to urgent care or wait for an appointment when this is so readily available. The doctor called in my prescription, made recommendations and Im still in my pjs lol.

Was told I need to see a doctor for a bacterial infection instead of prescribing me medication. Total waste of money.

This is terrific for routine stuff. Waited about 10 minutes to connect with a Dr. [at lunchtime], had a 5 minute chat with Dr., and will be getting prescription filled at local pharmacy this afternoon. Great time saver, and after insurance is $10 cheaper than urgent care visit too.

This app and the appointment I used it for were easy and just what I needed for my busy schedule.

We have used the Amwell app several times and it is easy to use and the providers have been great.

Downloaded app and saw Dr. Caverhill! She was excellent and made me feel very comfortable.. gave me excellent education and I felt very comfortable... will definitely use again!! So worth it!!

I teach healthcare professionals at a large Health Science Centerband have been interested in telehealth for a while. I knew my condition was not serious but knew I needed treatment. This was fast, easy, and professional. The best part is I didnt have to go anywhere! No long waiting rooms and exposure to other germs! Its a definite win for me.

If youre in a pinch, this is the perfect app. Rx when youre in a rush or not during regular hours.
