I have been incredibly sick for over two weeks now. After the first week I used Amwell to see a doctor regarding what was going wrong. Because it hadnt been 10 full days yet with my illness the doctor would not prescribe antibiotics and said that all I needed to do was send a follow-up message if I was still sick several days from then. I sent repeated follow up messages for the last five days now and have not gotten a single answer back. I am still sick, and during my initial appointment I was told that I did not need to pay for a repeat visit since this was simply a follow up with a prescription call-in. The doctor promised me they would be no problem getting antibiotics several days after my appointment, and then vanished into thin air for me to drop another $70 just to get someone to order antibiotics for me. This is ridiculous, and there should be some sort of method in place for follow up, especially if the doctors notes stated that I would be contacting them for a follow up prescription. Fix your app, or get better doctors who actually do what they say they will.
