Amwell Telemedcine Experience

Not sure if this is typical but the site was down for about 30 mins this Sunday afternoon.

But did see a doctor online for my child who had been coughing.

The doctor asked a series of questions then prescribed medication. The prescription was electronically sent to my local pharmacy. Also, the entire visit was documented as a PDF report, which is secured on my amwell account. I can now review the diagnosis and forward a copy to my regular health care provider.

This process saved me time and my child is on the way to recovery. Hate to think if I had to wait at our regular doctor without an appointment. Would have been at least a 2 hour wait.
